4th July At The Museum

We had a very busy 4th July over here at the Island. We opened the Museum and celebrated a “Happy Birthday America” with all those who visited the facilities. Being a very special day we pre arrange a couple of other activities.

In the morning WORA TV Station visited the Museum. WORA broadcast a portion of the interview that same evening and broadcasted the whole interview the next day. One thing for sure I’m no Tom Selleck !!!

In the afternoon we went over to the WABA Radio Station to give the Association and Museum some well deserved exposure. In the picture, from left to right, is Agustine Martinez, Pete Garcia and yours truly. Agustine is our new volunteer and none other than the subject of the “I Was Here in 39” post
