A surprising email arrived in my inbox last week from A/1C Larry Avenson. He and I served in the 72nd A&E Squadron at the same time and lived within hailing distance of each other in Isabela. We even shared the same landlord, Juan Mendez.

Larry, after reading blog posts on this site began searching his fifty-year-old records. He hit pay dirt sent me copies of Special Order 35, indicating both of us were flight crew debriefers on both B-52 and KC-135.

I’m pleased beyond words.
